Essential Functions:
- Works with management to plan and execute system upgrades/improvements, including hardware, operating system software, utility software, connectivity solutions, etc
- Installation of new software in Windows environments.
- Document all Windows administrator functions.
- Maintain fail over and Disaster Recovery environments.
- Troubleshoot problems related to the operating system, application and networking infrastructures.
- Work vendor to Support VOIP network and telecommunication infrastructures.
- Support telecommunication primary and backup infrastructures.
- Troubleshoot and maintain Web-Servers and Database servers (MSSQL and MySQL).
Additional Responsibilities:
- Be able to support the servers infrastructure during non-business hours. (nights, mornings and weekends). Remote access required.
- Work with different application team to complete new product initiatives.
- Provides training to Operations and Technical Services staff members.
- Support Finance, Manufacturing and helpdesk teams.
- Rotating weekend support
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Experience with network planning and deployment.
- Good communication skills, strong organisation skills, ability to prioritise and plan.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Windows, Networking.
- Software knowledge of TCP/IP, Outlook, MS Office, Apache Web Server, PHP, Windows and LINUX utilities.
- Cisco routers switches and VOIP telephony is plus.
- Industry/Vendor Certifications is plus.
Additional Information:
- Company will be investing 6 to 9 months in business training.
- Travel. Approx. 10%
